Cheer

Benson Bruins offers a cheer program for children ages 7 - 15. No tryouts are necessary to become a Benson Bruin Cheerleader. Our cheerleaders learn the importance of technique, teamwork, dedication, and perseverance. This dedication has earned us a respectable recognition in the cheer community, with back to back championships four years straight. Although winning is nice, the true reward is in our commitment to each other, our team, and our community.

Our teams are composed of children with a variety of skill level, age and schedule. We try our best to make sure each family enjoys their experience with Benson Bruins. If at all possible, we like to schedule families with multiple participants, the ability to cheer on the same team as their sibling or relative. We will try to honor all requests for a specific team however, we must balance the teams with equal abilities to perform stunts and cheers on game days. Cheerleaders may cheer for as many teams as they wish on game day, but will be required to cheer for the team they are assigned.
